Exchange Brings a Touch of Home to Poland During Atlantic Resolve 2017

Soldiers at MFE

In January the Exchange celebrated the historical opening of three Mobile Field Exchanges (MFE) in Poland for the first time in its 121 years of service. In support of operations in Poland, the Exchange Europe team deployed three MFEs and opened three field barbershops to support the 3,500 troops entering Poland en route to multiple locations throughout Europe. Joining U.S. and Polish government officials and senior Commanders, COL Geoff De Tingo, Exchange Europe & SWA Commander, represented the Army and Air Force Exchange Service at the commemoration ceremony.
