Customer Shoutouts: These Associates Rock!

 

Charles Smith
Overseas Region/KMCC, Germany

On Feb. 9, my spouse and I were in the Exchange’s main store at KMCC, where we were looking at artificial plants on display in the furniture department. Charles approached us and inquired if we needed assistance. After noticing that we were looking at the plants, Charles pointed out some other items, plus informed us that there was some more items on clearance and showed us the location. We happened to be in the furniture department the very next day, and Charles was there and remembered us. He is a true professional associate who is courteous, engaging, and reflects a standard that others in the industry should following.

Niki Sekuguchi

During my time at Yokota AB and shopping at the Exchange, I’ve always had the pleasure of getting served by Niki Sekiguchi. Some days when I come there and I don’t see her, I just put my items back and wait to come another day. Why? Because each and every time I shop there, I want to go to her register because she always provides me with the most outstanding world-class customer service, not just tome but others as well. Ms. Sekuguchi is always polite, smiling, talkative, friendly, shows patience and is very, very helpful. Ms. Sekuguchi gets the attention of her customers with her smile and enjoys getting to know them. If the Exchange had an ambassador program like the commissary, Niki Sekuguchi is the perfect cashier to wear that badge. She deserves the utmost congratulations for a job well done!

Jessie Bryant
Langley AFB/Eastern Region

Jessie Bryant gave her exceptional service in getting mattress delivered to her apt. recently. Customer does not use email, and Jessie went above her duties to get it sorted out with the delivery company to phone her. She is really appreciative. Jessie is doing a fine job.

 

Cecile Barber
Central Region/Fort Rucker, Ala.

I would like to compliment to Burger King Manager Cecile Barber, who is always so personable and pleasant. She greets everyone with a big smile. Her crew seems to mirror her demeanor and all of her crew members are very efficient and professional. I’ve seen Cecile often go out of her way to make folks at home and comfortable, and take time to ask if everything is okay. This is much appreciated, especially since the some of the senior customers have difficulty with their orders or have trouble with getting the food when their number is called or with getting back up when finished. It’s rare to see someone so enthusiastic, energetic, and demonstrating such good leadership qualities. I can tell she genuinely likes people and her job. Her facility is also top notch in all aspects.

Andrew Defelice

Andrew is doing a very good job who actually listens to the customers. He should be commended for his service in a remote location and for assembling a very good staff. He has shown what can happen when someone cares.

 

Zoe Gilmore
HQ/Customer Contact Center   

A customer stated that she thanks God for Zoe and her patience assisting her with the matter at hand. As a customer service manager, our motto is “Every customer Every time” and Zoe exemplified that today.

Another customer wanted to thank Zoe for her customer service that she provided him and approving his price-match request. He said that everyone was outstanding with their assistance and he is very pleased. A third customer wanted us to know that Zoe was extremely pleasant and that she went above and beyond. She says we always hear the negative part but no one ever tells the good and Zoe should be recognized.
