I want to commend two associates at the base service station, Marylyn and Chiaki. Both were working on Saturday morning when I stopped to get gas and change my rear windshield wiper. I needed help both in finding the correct wiper to install and then I needed help installing it. I asked them if they could help me do so, and they quickly and willingly did. It was cold and a cold wind was blowing, but they freely helped me. I appreciated their help greatly and wanted you to know how much it meant to me.

I called the Fort Indiantown Gap Military Clothing Sales store to place an order for a basic parachutist badge and Army name tapes. I spoke with a gentleman, who took down my order and stated that the items would be at Carlisle Barracks Exchange on Saturday. I arrived at the Exchange to find that my order had not arrived. I stated to Melanie, the store manager, that I was on a time crunch. Melanie sent Cory to the Fort Indiantown Gap store and by that afternoon, I had my order in hand allowing me time to get to the cleaners for sewing. I cannot say enough about the professional attitude showed to me and the extra effort that Melanie put into correcting an issue. I also want to give thanks to Cory for his great attitude and timeliness! Great team effort! My many thanks to the Exchange for going that extra step!!

I came into the JB Elmendorf Express to get a few last minute items before my flight. There was a young lady at the register and another young lady in the aisles. She asked me how my night was going and if she could help me find anything. I really appreciated that she took the time to greet me. When asked she told me her name was Sally. Overall, it was great experience. I’ll be coming back when I’m in town again and I hope to see this young lady again.
