June’s Customer Shoutouts: These Associates Rock!
Andrew Turner

I wanted to take a minute to comment on an outstanding customer service experience I had with Andrew in the shoe department. He was very knowledgeable and despite having a heavy work flow and attending to other customers, he made sure my questions were answered and went above and beyond to ensure that I was taken care of. Andrew is the epitome of customer service and a true standard of what it means to put the customer first.
Martin Rhodes

I saw an Exchange associate go above and beyond today. I just cannot be silent about the associate’s willingness to go out of his way to ensure that a customer was taken care of and safe. An elderly Vet complained of not feeling well outside of the store. The associate sat with the Vet until the associate was certain that the Vet was stable. The associate guided the Vet to his car and waited until he was certain that the he would be able to drive. The associate also noticed that the gas cap on the Vet’s vehicle was not secured. He quickly stopped the Vet to correct the issue.

I would like to inform you that I visit the Express on Fort McNair three to four times a week, whether it’s to grab lunch, gas or drinks. Michael is always courteous and friendly, not only to me but each customer. Shout out to Michael!
Yamilka Ramos

Yamilka Ramos is always very helpful and remembers items that customers are searching for. She even followed up and called me when the item I was looking for arrived. She functions like management and is a very good representative for the Exchange. She truly cares for customers and goes out of her way to give them the best service ever. Of my 20 years of military service and my 10 years as a DoD civilian, she truly ranks among the top Exchange employees I’ve ever met.

I would like to give a Taco Bell associate great praises. She has served me well at Taco Bell and served me well when she worked at Starbucks. I always got my coffee the way I liked it. It’s very hard for others to make it the way Keiwanna made it. She is always working hard to please the customers.
