One look and it is easy to see 2016 marked yet another chapter in our stunning turnaround story. Earnings of $384 million exceeded plan and generated $225 million in dividends to fund Quality-of-Life programs including Army Child Development Centers, Youth Programs and Fitness Centers as well as Air Force Outdoor Recreation (the number one Air Force Services program according to a DOD survey). In DoD’s constrained budgetary environment, these funds are critical to strengthening our military’s readiness and resiliency.
The Exchange is unlike any other retailer. Our team is “all in” for those who serve. In 2016, we went to the tip of the spear with our troops and generated needed funds to welcome them home. It is your inspiring passion for serving those who serve, combined with the level and breadth of service that only the Exchange can provide, that sets us apart and why no other organization or business can do what we do.
