August Customer Shoutouts: These Associates Rock!
Ronnie Holmes

I wish to commend Mr. Ronnie Holmes for his extraordinary customer service at the Stuttgart Car Care Center. On several occasions, Mr. Holmes has gone out of his way to help me with car maintenance and repair issues that have demonstrated his knowledge and competence. He consistently displays a courteous and helpful attitude. Just recently, he helped me when my car registration was to expire in 72 hours. When I rushed my car over for registration renewal, it failed inspection due to faulty front brakes. I was essentially down to 24 hours before my registration expired. Mr. Holmes located the necessary parts and squeezed my car into a very packed service schedule so that I was able to pass inspection the very next day and successfully renew my registration. This is typical of the service I’ve received from Mr. Holmes. He is the most capable service manager I’ve encountered at the Car Care Center in my 16 years in Stuttgart’s military community. Mr. Holmes should be recognized by Exchange managers for the tremendous service he provides to members of this community.

I was just browsing and not sure whether to buy a tablet or not. I asked Takako, a PowerZone associate, for help on what recommendations she had. She ensured that she answered all questions I had. I felt that all her attention was focused on me. I was amazed at her customer service skills. I bought a tablet and case that afternoon with confidence and knowledge that I got the best deal possible. I want to let the Exchange know what a wonderful experience I had and what an amazing PowerZone assocate Takako is. I appreciate her service very much.

Just wanted to let you know about an associate who went above and beyond to deliver customer service. We purchased a BBQ grill from the main Exchange in March. Two of the grill plates did not get loaded in our truck. Whoever assisted us loading it realized this, and taped a note to the grill plates, annotating the customer had left them. Fast forward to Memorial Day weekend. More than two months later, we unwrapped our grill for the first time and discovered the missing plates. We went back to the the Exchange to ask the question about the missing plates, without much hope. Desiree greeted us with a smile and listened patiently as we explained the situation to her. She asked us about size and what they looked like. She found our two missing grill—imagine our surprise! Her diligence to find those two small grill plates sitting somewhere in the large warehouse was truly appreciated! And, she did it with a smile. She truly enjoyed proving us a good customer experience…she is an excellent representative of the Exchange!
Robin Brown, Edna Cofield, Rodney Wostenberg and Philip Young

Robin and Edna at Fort Hood immediately jumped at the chance to help a customer get the furniture he ordered when he arrived at Fort Leonard Wood, only to find the box contained the wrong item. They called the Exchange at Fort Leonard Wood to help the customer get the furniture item he had bought. Rodney and Philip at Fort Leonard Wood were just as responsive as Robin and Edna. Because deliveries were typically made by Sears only once a week, Rod put the furniture on a van and delivered the furniture within two-and-a-half days of his first call to Fort Hood. The customer said that Rodney and Philip ensured the delivery was brought to the house in a timely fashion and in good condition. He said he had never experienced such superb service and would like all four associates to receive the praise and recognition they deserve. It took teamwork to pull this transaction off, and they did it flawlessly.

I bought outdoor furniture from the Exchange, but once I got it home, I noticed there were not any instructions included. I went back to the Exchange and discovered that the item didn’t come with instructions. Jhen, a store manager, went out of her way to provide me the instructions off the manufacturer’s website. It took her only a couple of minute, but I left with the instructions and a positive attitude. I definitely see why she is a manager. She went above and beyond her required duties. I am certain that I am not the first person to leave positive comments about her, but I just wanted to make sure that she got recognized. Excellent customer service is hard to find.
