Veteran for Life:
Zoe C. Gilmore

U.S. Army
1990-2015
Geospatial Analyst/Recruiter

I started my military career in 1990, and also began my seasonal career with the Exchange in 1992. Due to these paralleled, yet unique, experiences from both a customer-facing and serving customers’ perspective, I am able to provide invaluable insight to our organization, which positively impacts our business initiatives.

I honorably served in the United States Army for 24 years under two military occupational specialties: a geospatial analyst and recruiter.

During my Army tenure, I spent my initial 12 years supporting the Warfighters in the Special Operations community and other national intelligence agencies through interpretation of our enemies activities on imagery. During this time, I also deployed to Kuwait and Djibouti, Africa, to support Operation Enduring Freedom and assist with the ongoing efforts against the War on Terror.

The remaining 12 years were spent with the United States Army Recruiting Command, where I personally influenced thousands of men and women to serve our country, culminating in my role as a company first sergeant where I provided purpose direction, and motivation to more than 100 Soldiers.

Thank you for this opportunity to possibly be a part of something that is dedicated to the Servicemen and women who have sacrificed so much!
