Check Out These 2018 AREA Scholarship Winners

Twelve sons and daughters of Exchange associates will find paying for college a little easier, thanks to $40,000 in scholarships awarded by the AAFES Retired Employees Association (AREA).

The newest batch of winners brings the total number of scholarships AREA has awarded to 358 for nearly $785,000 since the program began in 1985.

This program provides freshman year college scholarships to high school graduating students who are related to active, retired or deceased Exchange associates and assigned military personnel or work for the Exchange.
