I want to thank and recognize Marta Bussato for the outstanding service she provided on May 15. Due to my negligence, she was able to quickly locate my receipt for a high-dollar item purchased back in April so I would be able to return it. Throughout this entire process, she was professional and extremely polite. Since I’ve never done so in the past, I’d also like to take a moment to thank the entire staff at the Exchange. I’ve worked customer service before and know that many times people only use your comment program to express complaints. From the cashiers, customer service representatives, floor personnel, and managers, you all have always been professional, courteous and helpful. Know that many of your customers appreciate all of your efforts. Thank you!

Ralph Rusch, the Yongsan store manager, is all-around positive. He is professional, personal, takes time out of his busy day to greet customers, and always offers to assist them. He always asks if we found everything we were looking for and goes above and beyond to make customers feel like family. This is something retail has lost over the years. You have nabbed yourself an manager who is exactly after whom you should model all your associates: professionalism, customer service and honestly caring about the customer’s needs. Kudos to the Yongsan Exchange. Thank you for hiring an asset, not just in your store but to the Yongsan community!

Dwight, a sales associate in the firearms section, is the best associate my wife and I have ever come across in our lifetime. Two separate times, Dwight has attended to our needs and treated us with the utmost respect and courtesy. On June 9, Dwight was setting up the displays and he was in noticeable pain. After the displays were completed, he attended to us with kindness though we could plainly see he was in much pain. He provided us with patience, respect and listened to what we were saying. We decided on a product and began the paperwork. He walked us through it, explaining the steps. He even asked if we were interested in a MILITARY STAR card, which would give us additional discounts on the products we were buying. After all transactions were completed and as Dwight was walking with us out of the store, we asked him another question. He stopped and asked if we wanted to see what they had in stock. We agreed and went back to the counter to look for the items. With what appeared to be a lot of pain, he remained very polite, attentive to our needs and most of all professional. He is a great sales associate and person. He is a people person and puts people first. The Patrick  Exchange should be honored to have him on its team. Thank you for employing a good man and people person as Dwight.

We purchased a computer at the Tinker main store on Friday, June 8. Thanks Tiara Jayne, we found just what we needed at a great price. Ms. Jayne was very knowledgeable about computers and listened to our needs and concerns. We could have bought our new computer anywhere, but chose the Tinker BX because of Ms. Jayne and her helpfulness. She is an exceptional sales associate.

 

Doro Hironaka

 I received excellent customer service by Doro. We purchased a safe and several other items, and she was such a pleasure to deal with. She has a great outgoing personality and is very knowledgeable. I had to complete paperwork for one of my purchases and Doro patiently walked me through the entire process. Associates like Doro make shopping at the Fort Lewis Exchange a great experience.
