Soldiers and families looking to make better-for-you dining choices just got a whole lot more options with the Muscle Maker Grill at the Fort Sill Exchange food court.

Maj. Gen. Wilson Shoffner, Fort Sill Commanding General, joined Exchange leaders in cutting the ribbon on the clean-eating restaurant on Nov. 21.

Shoffner spoke about the importance of choosing a BE FIT lifestyle to promote Soldiers and families’ readiness and resiliency. The Exchange is an active partner in the Healthy Army Communities initiative.

“The Exchange is committed to bringing name-brand restaurants that fit the military lifestyle to our service members and their families,” said Exchange General Manager Don Walter. “We’re all in on supporting the BE FIT lifestyle for the Fort Sill community.”

Lean, grilled and wrapped

Muscle Maker Grill employee Amber Bradley adds vegetable broth to nuggets for the opening ceremony.

Muscle Maker Grill offers a variety of lean protein meals, including the Godfather bowl, with grilled chicken breast, Portobello mushrooms, roasted red peppers, reduced-fat mozzarella, gluten- and fat-free balsamic vinaigrette over broccoli; and the MMG Signature wrap, featuring grilled chicken breast, turkey bacon, reduced fat cheddar cheese, romaine lettuce, tomatoes and onions with zero-carb signature sauce.

Soldiers and families can also take advantage of Muscle Maker Grill’s meal plan program, which allows diners to customize a daily schedule of pre-made meals for pickup or delivery.

This is the third Muscle Maker Grill the Exchange has brought to a military installation. Forts Bliss and Benning are home to the other two.
