Leaders of the Exchange’s Logistics Directorate meet with a member of the Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) G-48 and a project manager to talk about transportation of goods to Warfighters.

A member of the Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) G-48 and a project manager recently visited Exchange headquarters to meet with members of the logistics directorate.

Allen Griffin, Deputy Chief, Second Destination Program with HQDA G-48, and Peter Burrowes, Project Manager for Calibre for auditing Army Transportation, visited to gain an understanding of the Exchange’s transportation processes as they relate to the use of Secondary Destination Transportation (SDT) spending.

“The team’s passion really comes across. You truly are a force multiplier.”

-Allen Griffin, Deputy Chief, Second Destination Program, HQDA G-48

The Exchange is part of a larger review the Army is conducting across all SDT users to ultimately develop an enterprise solution that will ensure that SDT is auditable across all Army organizations and agencies.

Griffin and Burrowes also heard about the Exchange’s 123-year mission of support Warfighters and families wherever they go.

“The team’s passion really comes across,” Griffin said. “You truly are a force multiplier.”

Just an FYI. If you are ever in the Randolph AFB, Universal City, TX area go to Starbucks and see the store manager Linda. She is amazing. always inventing new drinks that are special to us. like the Capt. Marvel( tastes like foot loops cereal but better) she just created and she is doing one for the villain The Krulls. It’s green.
She really needs to be recognized for all she does
