2019 Express Seminar: Suppliers Honored for Outstanding Partnerships

Exchange senior leaders recognized 10 suppliers for outstanding support during the last year. Suppliers were honored during a luncheon June 25 at the annual Express seminar in Orlando.

“The Exchange truly appreciates our suppliers, who make it possible for the team to serve the best customers in the world,” said Eric Sidman, vice president, convenience channels. “Their commitment to success is second to none.”

Exchange Director/CEO Tom Shull, President and Chief Operating Officer Dave Nelson and Senior Enlisted Advisor Chief Master Sgt. Luis Reyes presented the awards alongside Sidman.

Four companies were named “supplier of the year,” while six suppliers received special recognition awards for supporting the Exchange during events throughout the year.

 

Supplier of the Year:

Hunt Brothers Pizza (opened 16 locations in 2018; helped the Express teams generate more than $11 million in sales in 2018)

Old Trapper (grew sales by 38.5% in 2018)

Diageo (increased sales by $1.6 million over prior year)

San Antonio Winery (lead the wine category in sales growth)

 

Special Recognition:

Performance Inspired (support at Army Ten-Miler and Bataan Memorial Death March)

Deli Express (support at Army-Navy Game)

Mondelez (support at Army Navy-Game)

Brown-Forman Co. (support at World Long Drive)

Monster Beverage Co. (support at World Long Drive)

E&J Gallo Winery (support at World Long Drive)
