From the 2019 Express Seminar: Who Won the Hunt Brothers Pizza and Deli Express Challenges?
Express stores from around the world took home a slice a victory as two key suppliers honored teams for being the best in two recent selling challenges. Hunt Brothers Pizza and Deli Express recognized the winners June 24, the opening day of the annual Express seminar in Orlando.
This year’s Hunt Brothers Pizza “How ’Bout a Pizza” contest awarded the top-sellers in CONUS and OCONUS during an eight-week promotion period. Fort Benning’s main post mini mall and the Vicenza Express were a cut above the resting, earning a trophy and plaque.
All told, Hunt Brothers Pizza sales increased 17.5% during the contest for all stores who have the quick-serve restaurant.
Deli Express honored Express stores too, recognizing those who had the greatest percent increase in sales from Dec. 1 through Feb. 28 over prior year. Each store won $200 to hold a party for its team.

Grafenwoehr Warrior Hill Express (up 39%)
Molesworth Express (up 94%)
Feltwell Express (up 128%)
Central Region:
Fort Riley Normandy Express (up 174%)
Camp Gruber Branch Store (up 102%)
Wright-Patterson Hospital Express (up 70%)
Eastern Region:
Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst McGuire Express (43%)
Fort Gordon troop store (112%)
Fort Benning Sand Hill troop store (119%)
Western Region:
Fort Bliss McGregor Express (137%)
JBER-Elemendorf Hospital Express (83%)
Malmstrom Fort Harrison Express (76%)
“These are two suppliers that support us every day and do a fantastic job every time we ask them to help us out,” said Eric Sidman, vice president, convenience channel merchandising. “They go above and beyond, going where we go to help us take care of Warfighters and their families.”
The Express seminar runs through June 28.
