Retiree Association Awards $43,000 in College Scholarships

Thirteen sons and daughters of Exchange associates and retirees have won $43,000 in college scholarships from the Exchange Retired Employees Association.

Joy Peng, daughter of HQ’s Tina Chen, and Rhys Arana, son of Exchange retiree Luis Arana, each received the top amount—$5,000—for outstanding academic achievement and community involvement.

Since the scholarship program began in 1985, AREA has awarded $828,000 to more than 370 students.
