Logistics Duo Recognized for Finding $77,000 in Incorrect Charges

Thanks to the Logistics Directorate’s Sheri Rinker and Bryson Wingo, the Exchange can add $77,000 to the bottom line.

Rinker, a logistics analyst, and Wingo, operations analyst supervisor, found errors in about 37,000 transactions involving  500 vendor checks that amounted to the Exchange being accidentally overcharged by $77,000. Most of the orders were for shipments by vendors to online customers.

For their work, EVP and Chief Financial Officer Jim Jordan presented them with his coin, while Karen Cardin, senior vice president of e-commerce, awarded them with two Exchange gift cards. SVP and Chief Logistics Officer Karen Stack walked Rinker and Wingo around HQ to tell other top senior managers what the duo had accomplished.
