More than 300 paratroopers with the 82nd Airborne Division’s 3rd Brigade Combat Team in quarantine relied on the Fort Bragg Exchange’s Domino’s to satisfy their hunger for pizza.

On March 21, three Domino’s associates prepared 310 pizzas for the Soldiers quarantined after arriving from nine months in Afghanistan.

As a Department of Defense precautionary measure, they will be quarantined for at least 14 days amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Domino’s associates Aaron Mallet, Elisa Hicks and Celina Cooper helped prepare the pizza and then take all the boxes to the quarantine area.

“We are happy to serve these Warfighters after they put their lives on the line while deployed to Afghanistan,”said Cheryl Chevis, the Exchange’s services business manager at Fort Bragg. “We are thrilled that they chose us—their Exchange—to satisfy their needs. They were quite happy with the service and overjoyed when we arrived with boxes and boxes of pizza.”
