Izmir Troop Store Associates Honored For Exceptional Service
Izmir Troop Store associates recently received coins and a letter of appreciation in recognition of their hard work and excellent customer service from Army Lt. Gen. J.T. Thomson, commander, NATO Allied Land Command.
“We are fortunate to have such an outstanding Post Exchange, and realize that it is you and your highly dedicated employees that make it so,” Thomson stated in the letter. “Thank you for your tireless efforts, your unwavering support and your commitment to excellence.”
Store Manager Mine Serbest, who has been working at the store in Turkey for three years, accepted the letter on behalf of her team, saying she was honored to receive such wonderful recognition.
“I have three heroes working with me,” Serbest said. “We are a dedicated team feeling responsible for our community here.”
Jason Rosenberg, senior vice president of the Europe/Southwest Asia Region, commended the team for their dedication to service.
“It’s great when that light gets to shine on our associates who are going above and beyond,” Rosenberg said. “Serbest and her team are proving that we are proud to serve those who are serving our country.”
Great Job
