Throughout Fort Bragg, many units are hard at work providing mission-essential services during the COVID-19 pandemic, such as the Womack Army Medical Center staff, firefighters, military police, blood bank staff and more.

As a thank-you for all their work, the Fort Bragg Exchange Domino’s has been surprising these frontline workers with fresh, hot pizza deliveries.

“The surprise Domino’s meals have been a real morale booster,” Fort Bragg Services Business Manager Cheryl Chevis said. “It’s been an honor to participate in something like this that helps our extended military family.”

Since March 30, Domino’s has delivered more than 400 pizzas throughout the installation. Domino’s, an Exchange concessionaire, has 75 associates at two Fort Bragg locations.

Though the deliveries are a surprise to the recipients, Domino’s usually works with a contact at installation organizations to ensure they deliver enough pizzas for the staff on a given night.

“Domino’s has been great business partner and big supporter of the community,” Chevis said.
