The Exchange’s new senior enlisted advisor, Chief Master Sgt. Kevin Osby, made his first official visit to an Exchange facility on Sept. 4, touring the Waco DC.

Chief Master Sgt. Kevin Osby, the Exchange’s senior enlisted advisor, and healthcare services officer Lt. Col. Jasmine Dede paid a visit to the Waco Distribution Center.

“He’s got some supply-chain experience in his background, so we wanted to invite him here to give him some insight into the distribution centers and what we do,” said Preston Huddy, WADC manager for Logistics.

Osby, who joined the Exchange in August, received an overview of operations and helped fill some e-commerce orders while visiting the Waco DC team.

“I have been to many places in my life, but there aren’t many that displayed the pride I saw in Waco,” Osby said. “The morale of that team is A-1, and I felt it in every interaction.”

Osby visited the facility along with Denise Hunter, vice president of Corporate Policy, and Healthcare Services Officer Lt. Col. Jasmine Dede. Huddy and Assistant DC Manager Jeovany Garza served as hosts.

“We were showing him the ropes and he was happy to jump in,” Huddy said. “Chief Osby did such a great job that we might invite him back around Black Friday to assist with the holiday rush.”
