The Exchange’s special emphasis program Nation’s Network hosts the “Show Your Mocs” contest through Nov. 30.

In honor of American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month, Exchange associates are encouraged to enter the “Show Your Mocs” contest.

Hosted by the Exchange’s special emphasis program Nation’s Network, the worldwide virtual contest is open to all associates and is designed to further educate about the history of Native American Nations while recognizing associates who exhibit the value of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

To enter, associates must submit a photo that features moccasins – either a pair they own or that they have borrowed – which should be shown being worn or on display. Participants who appear in photos must be dressed in clothing that complies with Exchange dress code standards or is diversity-group appropriate.

The grand-prize winner, to be selected by the Nation’s Network Program managers, will receive a leadership book by author John C. Maxwell and a backpack from the office of Equal Employment Opportunity, Diversity & Inclusion. A pair of runners-up will be awarded backpacks.

Moccasin photos must be attached in JPG or JPEG format to a submission email containing the associate’s name, email address, contact phone number and a brief description of the photo.

Submissions, which must be received by Nov. 30, should be emailed to DiversityInclusion@aafes.com.
