Bevaney Sims
Nellis AFB Starbucks – Foreman
Bevaney Sims is a hardworking and humble Food Service foreman who has been with the Exchange for more than eight years. Her excellent work ability, continuous dependability and sense of passion continue to drive sales and leave a lasting impression on our team. Bevaney is consistent in her performance and continues to positively lead by example. Even through our busy moments, she continues to impress customers with prompt and accurate service.
Celeste LaFond
Goodfellow Express – Customer Experience Associate
Celeste comes from a military family — her mother and father are Army Veterans who take great pride in continuing to serve others. Celeste has been a hardworking and dedicated Customer Experience Associate at the Goodfellow Express for the past three years. She attends college full time, making the Dean’s List each semester while working at the Express part time. Celeste has expressed interest in growing with the Exchange and has started working on the Shift Manager Job Training Plan. She actively assists management with extra duties. Many of the store associates look up to her for guidance and extra training when needed.
Birol Tahraogul
Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Turkish Carpets & Gifts – Manager
After starting as a jewelry vendor in 2007 and then transitioning into the rug business in 2009, Birol currently operates the Turkish Carpets & Gifts in the new JBLM Mall. He has been a devoted business partner for 14 years and is now a valued member of the JBLM community. He exemplifies customer service from greeting every passerby to assisting new and returning customers by carrying heavy purchases to their cars for them. Birol is quick to lend a helping hand to all concessionaires, old and new. He has even been known to reach out to the janitorial/porter staff to acknowledge their hard work. Throughout the pandemic, he has remained positive the entire time and kept his business open.
