OPERATION: Call Out — Western Region
Western Region recognizes Nerissa Skol, Shawn Aoki and Savanna Bailey for their exceptional hard work and dedication to our customers.
Nerissa Skol
General Manager Administrative Assistant
Luke AFB
Nerissa Skol is a true asset to Luke Exchange as well as the West Coast area. She not only takes care of the WCA Vice President’s calendar and suspenses, but she also embraces all challenges. Nerissa is the Luke PAR representative and Facebook administrator, working with managers in all businesses to ensure that events are not only advertised, and attending events to take photos to create the graphics. She takes it upon herself to coordinate training, keeps track of Procard statements, ensures suspenses are met early and utilities are kept up to date. Luke has not had a recruiting manager for some time, so Nerissa has been helping HR by coordinating onboarding as well as helping with in-processing of new associates. She consistently looks for efficient ways to complete tasks and asks for more responsibilities.
Shawn Aoki
End User Computer Technician
Cannon AFB
Shawn Aoki has been filling in for the Dyess/Goodfellow AFB EUCT for over a year now. He has been a great support to both Exchanges, not only during COVID-19 but also during a $9 million dollar renovation going on at Goodfellow and networking upgrades at Dyess. Shawn is always ready to help us at crucial times! Although miles and miles away from us, he would log in via Teams, where he would remotely and magically fix things just like a wizard! We are in the final stages of our renovation and are so fortunate to have Shawn be here at Goodfellow AFB to help finish up the IT aspect of the renovation and be part of our team. Thank you, Shawn and Cannon AFB, for helping out your sister exchanges!
Savanna Bailey
Store Manager & Certified Personal Trainer – NutriShop
Mountain Home AFB
Since the NutriShop opened at the Mountain Home Exchange in May 2021, it has generated $51,000 in sales. The NutriShop team has helped the entire base population with weight management by doing weekly check-ins on the InBody machine, helping the American Fighting Force stay operationally ready. Savanna sets meal and workout plans for the military community. She goes the extra mile to get to know every customer and remember specific information about them to bridge the gap and create a trustworthy bond between sales associate and customer. Outside of work, Savanna sees her customers and helps them with their daily workouts and keeps the motivation going while at the gym. She is an extremely valuable asset to not only the NutriShop but to the Exchange as well.
