Fort Carson Exchange Celebrates Freedom Fest With a Bang

The Fort Carson Main Exchange kicked off Independence Day weekend by participating in the installation’s Freedom Fest event on July 2.
Working with vendor partners, the Fort Carson team provided materials such as insect repellent, camping chairs, and energy drinks for Soldiers and their guests who came to the fest, which featured food trucks, musical performers including country singer Joe Nichols and a fireworks-show climax.
“The Fort Carson team has a lot to be proud of,” said Allan Klingbeil, Fort Carson Main Exchange sales and merchandise manager. “The execution of this event was spectacular and so many people contributed. This was truly an example of teamwork at its finest.”
