Melissa Behrens is a great example of “family serving family.” She treats each customer like family, and her outstanding, upbeat personality brings joy to the customers, as well as our staff. Her knowledge of military uniforms makes it easy provide outstanding service. Melissa was recently asked if she would work temporarily as a supervisor; she accepted without a second thought. She ensures daily all DLATS merchandise is ordered and well stocked. Melissa is always there to help train associates and assist them when needed. She always has the store’s best interests at heart, is always willing to do what’s best for the facility and ensures all store standards and policies are followed. We can always rely on her to manage the sales floor and keep the store functional with or without management around. Melissa is and always will be a great asset to MCS and the Exchange.

Fort Leonard Wood would like to recognize Tony Prather, the manager at US Patriot. Tony and his team go above and beyond to support the basic training and Advanced Individual Training Soldiers by providing scheduled boot fittings along with working other essential inventory requests that may arise.  During the month of June, US Patriot generated $370,440 in sales, with $92,610 in income. Tony and his team provide exceptional customer service to the service members and their families throughout the entire Fort Leonard Wood community.

Jadyn Davis goes above and beyond every day, not only to ensure our customers come first, but also to make sure our store stands above the rest. Jadyn adapts to changes with a smile and a positive attitude and makes sure all her employees are trained properly. Thanks to her “ask every customer every time” attitude, she has helped us achieve 10% MILITARY STAR penetration YTD and No. 2 ranking worldwide. Her attention to detail has helped Tinker Starbucks achieve gross profit percentage of 69.1%, ranking us No. 4 worldwide YTD. Jadyn is definitely an asset, not only to Team Tinker and Starbucks, but to all of AAFES.
