OPERATION: Call Out — Western Region

Western Region recognizes Ashley Romero, Daisy Delapena and Timothy McCullough for their outstanding hard work and unwavering dedication to our customers.

Ashley Romero
Main Store Stockroom
Davis-Monthan AFB

Ashley rose to the challenge when she learned Davis-Monthan would be supporting Restriction of Movement service men and women with a personal shopper program while they are in quarantine. She saw an opportunity to serve our customers and took it upon herself to volunteer. Ashley not only assisted with picking orders, but she also continued to take the initiative and asked to be trained on how to use the register, make calls to customers to process payments, pack up orders and deliver to the designated dropoff locations. Her drive to take care of our service members and their families during quarantine and provide them with friendly, quality service, exemplifies the Exchange’s core value of “family serving family.”

Daisy Delapena

Dyess/Goodfellow AFB

The Goodfellow Exchange would like to recognize Hair Express owner Daisy Delapena. Daisy started her career with Goodfellow in August 2003 in the barbershop.  She took a leap and branched out to have her own business when she decided to take over the hair salon. Her attention to her customers has grown the business from an average of $8,000 a month in sales to over $20,000 a month in sales in just over two years. Daisy and her team take pride in serving the military members and their families, and it shows in the numbers!
