OPERATION: Call Out—Eastern Region

Eastern Region is always so proud to show off our associates and for December we want to congratulate Kathy Cooper, Susan Hinojosa and Carmen Stubbings for being our “Call Out” associates of the month! Thank you so much for what you not only do for the Exchange every day, but most importantly what you do for our great customers EVERY DAY!
Kathy Cooper
Shift Manager
Fort Indiantown Gap Military Clothing Store – Carlisle Exchange
Kathy has gone above and beyond in her service to help our customers. We recently received the following customer comment: Not only did Kathy help me put together ASUs for Commissioning for myself, but she assisted two of my best friends as well. We thought we were doomed because of the national shortage of ASUs, but Kathy made it all work! Her friendliness and dedication to go above and beyond in her job should be recognized. The world needs more people like Kathy!!
Susan Hinojosa
Burger King Food Service Worker
Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling
Susan Hinojosa has worked with the Exchange for over 21 years and has consistently demonstrated an outstanding dedication to her customers at JBAB Burger King. She is always the first to say,“Yes” with a can-do attitude when asked to complete any task. Her hard work and dedication to our service members come through daily. Susan is friendly to each of our highly valued customers and consistently provides them with courteous and timely service. A proud team member and an expert at her job, Susan calls out orders, restocks and pushes her team to complete orders in a quick and efficient manner. Susan’s efforts enabled JBAB Burger King to exceed the 2:45 BK Speed of Service (SOS) standard by 58 seconds, achieving an SOS time of 2:12. She is directly responsible for sales increasing by 10% and direct operating results increasing by a whopping 200%! Susan’s job performance sets the example for her peers. She is among the best!
Carmen Stubbings
Services Operations Assistant
Fort Drum
Carmen Stubbings has pretty much single-handedly held down the entire services office while both the Services Business manager and other Services assistants were out of the office. She stepped up to fulfill many of the SBM duties, has easily kept everything running smoothly, and dealt with anything that came her way over the past three months. She has been instrumental in meetings with interested vendors and contractors, as well as listing the excess Exchange vehicles on GSA, and selling them for a total of $21,831. Way to go, Carmen!
WOW! I can see why all 3-of these Team members were selected for a Shout Out for Excellence! Congratulations on being so inspirational and THANK YOU for taking such super care of our Troops!
