Exchange Suits Up For America’s Game
For the fourth year in a row, the Exchange brand was prominently featured in and around one of the biggest rivalries in college football. A team of Exchange all-star Logistics and West Point associate volunteers came game-ready to share the Exchange’s story of service and support with the 82,000-plus fans at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, who witnessed a hard-fought, competitive game that saw the Navy Midshipmen ultimately prevail.
West Point Exchange General Manager Katy Litterer, Store Manager Andrew Brooks and Express Manager Ruth Freeman staffed an Exchange outreach tent in the Fan Fest area, distributing swag bags to fans entering the stadium and letting Veterans know about their online shopping benefit.
“We do it because we are proud of the Exchange and the mission it represents,” Litterer said. “This is a special day, and our team is honored to play a part in it.”
Exchange truck drivers Eddie Hill and Bradley Wacks skillfully wheeled their big rigs to the front of the stadium to make a brand statement that could not be missed, with a custom Exchange/Army-Navy Game trailer designed specifically for this year’s matchup and specially designed outreach mobile field exchange (MFE).
Divisional Merchandise Manager David Arens and his team secured vendor support to supply snacks at the MFE. Wacks and Hill assisted with stocking the MFE with goods from Deli Express, Lotus, Blue Diamond, Jack Links, Doritos, Cattleman’s Cut, Wonderful Pistachios, Power Up trail mix, Simply Delicious bakery and Emerald. The drivers handed the snacks to thousands of grateful Cadets and Midshipmen, who learned about the Exchange’s “We Go Where You” mission.
Hill said he was honored to do his part to support the game.
“This is an incredible event,” Hill said. “It gives me the feeling that I’m giving back to those that will be serving and protecting us.”
