OPERATION: Call Out—Western Region

Western Region recognizes Darien Nesbitt, Naomi K. Enriquez-Soraoka and Ed Boudreau for their outstanding hard work and unwavering dedication to our customers.

Darien Nesbitt
Burger King Assistant Manager
Davis-Monthan Air Force Base

Darien Nesbitt is our assistant manager for Burger King and is a huge support to all Davis-Monthan food facilities. He is knowledgeable, friendly and continues to help all junior managers and the foreman when they need assistance. Recently, a customer left a rave review regarding Darien; “I came in really close to closing. I could see Darien and his team getting ready to close. Darien was kind. He took my order and made sure my food was all correct and good”.  Darien is the best example of Family Serving Family!

Naomi K. Enriquez-Soraoka
Firearms Associate
U.S. Air Force Academy

Naomi exemplifies the Exchange’s core values—Family Serving Family, Respect Everyone, Courage to Use Good Judgment—and has used them to build an excellent rapport with all her customers. She is so integral to the firearms counter that new customers ask for her by name. Her positive attitude, calm demeanor and expert knowledge are always well-received and greatly appreciated. She continually seeks to improve the buying experience for her customers by staying up to date on the latest trends and information in the ever-changing market that is shooting sports. Naomi is well-deserving of the constant praise she receives from her customers and is a highly valued part of the team.

Ed Boudreau
Photographer—Ed Boudreau Gallery
Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson

Often, we are served by those who have served.  Retired Chief Ed Boudreau, an Alaskan photographer, has served the JBER community for more than 10 years. He has built relationships with local artisans and sells his photography as well as local art in a gallery-like setting inside our Exchange Mall. Last spring, the Gallery Shop was relocated, and sales tripled in the new location, averaging $15k a month.  Ed enjoys being able to offer Alaskan wares for less than the tourist prices to the military community.  Customers often bring their visiting guests, and this shop is a must-see for new arrivals. Ed is a great example of Family Serving Family!
