From the 2022 Express Seminar: See Who Won the Hunt Brothers, Rock Your Sales Contests

Two CONUS Expresses shared a slice of the pie in the Hunt Brothers How ‘Bout a Pizza Contest, as Camp Grayling and Fort Riley tied for first place among stateside Exchanges.
The Camp Humphreys Troop Mini Mall was the OCONUS winner in the contest. Results were announced Monday at the Express seminar in Orlando, Florida.
The contest took place from March 14 to April 22. Stores were given a goal based on their sales in the six weeks before March 14, then were ranked based on their sales dollars over goal and their percentage of sales dollar increase over goal during the six-week contest period.
The winners receive a pizza party for the store team, their store name engraved on a trophy and a permanent plaque for the store. Camp Grayling is part of the Selfridge ANGB Exchange in Michigan.
Winners of the Exchange’s 2021 “Rock Your Sales” contest were also announced Monday. The contest was open to all Express, Class 6 and troop store locations to see which had greatest percentage increase in total store sales dollars (excluding gas) from Aug. 1, 2021, to Jan. 29, 2022, compared with the same time period in 2019.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic’s effect on 2020 sales, the contest covered sales gains from that period. Consumables Vice President Martha Robuck presented the awards.
There was one winner from each region, with the Fort Lee Exchange’s Fort Pickett Retail Store showing the biggest increase at 322% over 2019.
Each winner received $200 for a store party.
The winners were:
Eastern Region: Fort Lee/Fort Pickett Retail Store, 322% increase over 2019
Central: Fort McCoy Branch Store, 96.3% increase
Western: Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson Richardson Troop Store, 85.7% increase
Pacific: Camp Humphreys, Zoeckler Mini Mall, 127% increase
Europe: Vicenza Del Din Express, 28.9% increase
The Express seminar runs through May 6.
