Exchange Vice President of Softlines Marissa Carpenter, Central Region Vice President Stephanie Burns, Divisional Merchandise Manager Lisa Wilburn, Fort Hood Store Manager Maria Berrios Borges and Buyer Donna Crenshaw cut the ribbon on the name-brand assortment at the first Exchange to offer Aerie in-store.

“I’m the most excited about the inclusivity this brand brings to the Exchange,” Carpenter said. “Aerie is one of the hottest brands, and we’re excited to offer it to our military shoppers.”

The addition of Aerie is part of the Exchange’s sustained, internal focus to bring more high-quality and trusted brands—transforming the hard-earned Exchange benefit for military shoppers.

Aerie will be added to 30 Exchange stores throughout 2022. Associates can also shop the collection at ShopMyExchange.com tax-free.

Sgt. Rodneka Seamster, assigned to Fort Hood, was among the first shoppers to explore the new offering.

“I really like it,” she said. “I think it’s a nice addition, especially for the new Soldiers, and it makes the store pop a little more.”

Crenshaw, the Exchange’s buyer for the Aerie assortment, selected the best products for military shoppers.

“We went headfirst with the shopper in mind when we purchased this assortment,” she said. “It’s an exciting brand that brings a different look and feel to the Exchange.”

Aerie brings an inclusive feel to the Exchange lineup, giving shoppers of all shapes and sizes another option for style. The brand promotes body positivity and empowerment with high-quality, on-trend clothing, including high-waisted leggings, bras, bralettes, underwear and more.
