These associates were caught by the Loss Prevention Directorate doing the right thing—working safely to avoid injuries and keep the Exchange’s healthcare costs in check.
- Logistics: The Distribution Center/Loss Prevention team would like to give a “BIG SHOUT OUT” to Material Handler II Erica Porter, “Caught Doing the Right Thing” by helping another associate flush their eyes after an MHE hydraulic leak sprayed them.
- Central East—Fort Bragg: Shift Manager Samuel Hlorgbe was “Caught Doing The Right Thing” by properly and safely following cash courier procedures! Way to go Samuel! Thank you for being safe today and lead the way!
- North West—Malstrom Air Force Base: “Big Shout Out” to Malmstrom Express Customer Service Specialist Marcella Thomas for ensuring all customers received a flyer promoting fuel pump safety.
- East Central—Redstone Arsenal: “Shout out” to Main Store Manager Kimberly Mills for ensuring fire extinguishers are compliant with monthly checks.
- Pacific Region—Schofield Military Store: Supervisory Customer Experience Associate Charlene Sismar was “Caught Doing the Right Thing” when she was observed conducting “Bob & Lisa” (Bottom of the Basket and Look Inside All) checks while assisting customers.
- South East— Robins Air Force Base: SHOUT OUT to Popeyes associates Alma Oviedo and Ulissa Alexander for always keeping safety in mind and wearing slip-resistant shoes.
- Southwest Asia—Kuwait: A big “Shout Out” to Arifjan Z1 associate Rahmatulla Asadi, who was “Caught Doing The Right Thing” by using a mop bucket to catch dripping water and displaying “wet floor” signs to reduce accidents. Great job, Rahmatulla!
- West Central—Fort Hood: A big “Shout Out” to Clear Creek Main Exchange custodian Ricky Harman for keeping shopping carts sanitized and always wiping down trash cans, keeping our customers and associates safe. Mr. Ricky was presented with a “Safety Bee” and a Free Slider coupon.
- Southwest—Kirtland Air Force Base: A “Big Shout Out” to Softline’s Manager Ralane Dela Torre for properly using step ladder. Awesome Ralane job for bee-ing safety wise!
- West Coast—Beale Air Force Base: A “Big Shout Out” to Supervisory Customer Experience Associates Francisca Salazar and Ken Sprague, and Laborer (Stocker) Hunter Hasty, who were “Caught Doing the Right Thing” when they rallied to assist a co-worker experiencing heat exhaustion.
- Europe—Kosovo: A big “Shout Out” to associate Vahid Mehmeti for properly conducting and documenting forklift checks before operating the forklift and for properly using a seat belt.
- Mid Central—Fort Sam Houston: “Shout Out” to jewelry Associates Laura Gore and Yvonne Gevers for their assistance in finding the prices of merchandise recovered during a shoplifting incident where the price tags were removed. Their assistance resulted in the timely and orderly transfer of the subject to law enforcement.
