Jeffrey recently received excellent customer feedback for providing an outstanding shopping experience: “We wanted to express our appreciation to Jeff for his exemplary customer service. He raised the bar to astronomical heights and went out of his way to answer all our questions about flash drives. When we went on our way through the Exchange, Jeff tracked us down because he was not satisfied that he met all our needs. We are of the technophobe generation, and Jeff was nice enough to give us a Computer Accessory 101 course. Not only was he patient and kind with us, but not once did we see him roll his eyes, which is what our tech-savvy grown children would have done. Summer, the store supervisor, should get recognition as well; she was there and provided valuable input as well. Both Jeff and Summer’s professionalism and willingness to go light-years beyond the extra mile is so admirable that we immediately went to the BX admin office and sang their praises to the assistant manager. We only regret we could not promote or give hefty pay raises to these outstanding individuals, so our appreciation will have to suffice.”  Thank you, Jeff, for your great customer assistance!

Deja is being recognized for always “Doing the right Thing” to support and serve our customers. She consistently asks if the customer will be saving 10% by using their MILITARY STAR® card and is our MILITARY STAR ambassador. Customers are so excited receiving their $20 reward cards that they make it a point to visit Subway to share the excitement with her; and the bonus is most of them use it right there at Subway! Deja’s efforts are evident in our MILITARY STAR penetration rate, which is at 12.37% YTD. Her dedication to ensure our customers are taking advantage of their MILITARY STAR benefits and savings is simply amazing!  Deja is an all-around fantastic associate with a great spirit, can-do attitude, consistent and dedicated to serving our customers. She is a true asset to Zoeckler Food Court and the Humphreys Exchange.

Saori is an exceptional associate, always willing to go the extra mile to assist our customers. We recently received a note of gratitude from one of her customers: “I wanted to let you know about an outstanding interaction with one of your associates, Saori Shiojima. My son and I rented a car from Camp Zama to climb Mount Fuji on Sunday, 24 July. While the facility is closed on Sundays, she took the time to answer my email and booked a minivan for us. Then graciously put us into a compact when one became available. 28 July was already a long day, as we had to unexpectedly spend the night on Mount Fuji and had to rush to get back to Camp Zama to return the car. When we returned the car, Saori asked if we were taking the bus to the airport. We told her we were taking the trains back to Haneda since our flight left in 3 hours. She kindly gave us a ride to the Zama walk-in gate. Her simple act of kindness allowed my son and I to hit all the trains and connections perfectly with time to spare. I want to personally let AAFES leadership know how kind, thoughtful and considerate Saori was.”
