DoorDash Service Expanding to Express Locations
The Exchange is making it easier for military shoppers to have food and snacks delivered on-demand as it has expanded its DoorDash service to include food, quick meals and snacks from Express convenience stores.
Strengthening the benefit through DoorDash is an Exchange value lever for 2022. The expanded service launched at Expresses at Forts Hood, Bragg and Carson in August and more locations could be added in the future. Snacks, drinks and meals from the Express and Express restaurants such as Hunt Brothers Pizza, Chopz and more are now available for delivery through DoorDash on the installations.
In just its first month, the three pilot locations received nearly 450 orders for more than $7,000 in sales.
“The Exchange continually looks for opportunities to improve the quality of life for all who live and work on the installation,” said Martha Robuck, Vice President, Consumables. “Offering Express items through DoorDash brings additional customer convenience to military members and their families.”
The Exchange currently offers restaurant delivery through DoorDash at nearly 50 installations. The partnership has been well-received with more than 757,000 orders placed from more than 330 restaurants since 2021.
