Joselito works diligently to serve our customers daily and protect our bottom line, enabling us to give back to the military community. There are countless examples of ways he goes above and beyond to assist our customers. Recently, Joselito was able to turn a negative customer comment into a positive customer experience. He took quick action by contacting a vendor directly to assist a customer with their manufacturer’s warranty and obtain a return authorization for them. Unfortunately, the TV was no longer available in our store, so Joselito researched and found one at another store and arranged for a transfer. The customer was delighted and thanked him for his genuine concern and determination to find a solution. Joselito explained the benefits of the Exchange Protection Plan to the customer and persuaded them to add it to their new TV purchase—saving the store $500 and resulting in a satisfied and happy customer. His selfless actions and unwavering desire to go above and beyond embody the spirit of Family Serving Family and make Joselito a valuable employee at Kadena AB.

Casey Robin Hood–Northern Exchange

“What a joy it is to know our favorite sandwich is being made the moment we enter the Robin Hood!” Customers enjoy their favorite sandwiches and the outstanding service provided by Son-mi at Casey’s Robin Hood. She knows many of her customers by heart and immediately starts their “regular” order as they enter the store. By the time the customer reaches the counter, she has their order ready and waiting for them. Our customers truly appreciate the Family Serving Family atmosphere and frequently return. Son-mi is known for her “Marine Delight” party platters, adding her own special touch on each platter, such as flower bouquets. She is a truly exemplary associate with excellent skills, always providing friendly service with a smile and delighting customers with the best sandwiches. Thanks to all her hard work, dedication and excellent customer service, sales have increased by 34% over annual financial plan. Thank you, Son-mi, you are an asset to the Exchange and truly an example of Family Serving Family.

Kyu-Nam and his team with BBQ Outpost food truck have shown excellent support to the Humphreys community. They are always standing by tto provide food and refreshments to our Aoldiers and civilians on-post.\ Kyu-Nam was recently nominated for a Certificate of Appreciation by the Commander of the 4-2 Attack Battalion for always being there to support our troops during training exercises. If you see an exercise happening, there is a good chance a BBQ Outpost truck is nearby waiting to support the troops. In addition to training events, the team is always ready to assist with high school events or supplement direct food around the 3,335-acre installation.
