Open Enrollment Begins Today—Here’s What You Need to Know
Open Enrollment begins today, Nov. 1, and continues through Nov. 30. Associates are encouraged to review existing healthcare benefits and decide whether they want to make changes. Any election made will become effective Jan. 1, 2023.
For those who don’t plan to make any changes, no action is required. However, associates who would like to maintain their Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) are required to make new elections each year.

NAFhealthplans.com is also a great resource. You can find information about Health Incentive Credits, which can reduce your deductible and healtcare cost by completing health actions. You may also view information about the Medicare Advantage with Prescription Drug (MAPD) plan for Post-65 retirees, and much more information about your health plan.
Associates can receive $150 in incentive credits by completing a biometric screening no later than November 30, 2022. Visit www.NAFhealthplans.com/wellness for more information about all available Health Incentive Credits.
Quest Diagnostics will be at the Exchange HQ Nov. 15 and 16 to offer a free and confidential biometric screening. If you haven’t signed up yet, you can do so at https://questforhealth.com. User registration key is DOD2022. Enter your Aetna W# on your Aetna insurance card. If your spouse would like to join you, enter the Aetna W# with an S after the W#.

During Open Enrollment you have the option to enroll or change your medical plan, add or delete dependents, increase your life insurance coverage for those already enrolled, update your beneficiaries, and much more! If you want to participate in a Flexible Spending Account or a Health Savings Plan in 2022, you must make these elections during Open Enrollment. They do not roll over from one year to the next.
