Al Asad Exchange
There are many deserving associates at Al Asad, but we want to recognize Gulmedina for her contributions and commitment to serving the best customers in the world. Though she makes it look effortless, she is constantly seen cleaning up, hanging and reorganizing our souvenir T-shirts. Due to her dedication, she and her team have made souvenir shirts the number one seller in Softlines. By the third week of October, we sold more than 1,000 shirts with sales exceeding $18,500. Without Gulmedina’s commitment to the team’s goal and her drive to provide excellent service to our customers, this would not have been possible. Even though she is responsible for Softlines, she helps the team take care of the mobile field Exchange and operates a register. Gulmedina exemplifies the idea that merchandise does not sell if it is in the stockroom or in containers.

Ramstein–KMC Exchange
Dwaine has consistently demonstrated an outstanding dedication to the Exchange mission at Ramstein Express. His hard-work, dedication and positivity are an example to all. He is our main forklift driver and has hauled the majority of our $10.4 million in retail merchandise. He averages nine shipments and moves 102 pallets per week. Dwaine can also be seen restocking the store daily, always performing the heaviest and dirtiest jobs—and always with a phenomenal can-do attitude.

Aviano Main Store
Aaron has been instrumental in the overall success of stockroom operations. He has realigned the processes in the stockroom to effectively control merchandise flow from the warehouse to the sales floor. The training Aaron provides his team has improved our overall results. With a $2 million increase in inventory, his new initiatives have kept the sales floor replenished, and the warehouse clean and organized—resulting in a 1.7% increase in sales above annual financial plan. This contributed $381,088 to our bottom line—almost doubling last year’s YTD earnings.
