Kin, Tomohiro
Customer Experience Associate
Camp Foster Service Station
Tomohiro is currently assigned as a customer experience/sales associate. He recently went above and beyond to aid an elderly couple in need. They were stranded with a flat tire and unfortunately, our Car Care Center had already closed for the day. He walked with the couple to their car and helped them air up their tire. As he was returning to the facility, he realized the couple was right behind him. The tire had already gone flat again. To the couple’s dismay, Tomohiro discovered they had a leaky valve. However, he was able to save the day by using his good judgment. He promptly took the wheel to the tire station and repaired it. The couple was incredibly grateful and asked for Tomohiro to be recognized immediately. The manager of the Foster Service Station allowed the couple to present Tomohiro with a Champion Card! Thank you for your demonstration of initiative, professionalism, speed of service and the essence of Family Serving Family! Well done, Tomohiro!
Kumiko Crunk
Food Service Worker
Misawa Exchange
Kumiko rose to the challenge when we received an emergency order for 162 passengers who were stranded at Misawa Air Base due to mechanical issues with a plane leaving the Patriot Express. She did a phenomenal job preparing the batter, working the fry station, and thoroughly cooking all the chicken in record time, and most important, without sacrificing quality or safety standards. Kumiko’s eagerness to please her customers while creating a positive impression for Popeyes and the Misawa Exchange imparted a lasting impression with our customers.
Son, Pyong-chun
Food Activity Lead Foreman
Humphreys Exchange
The Humphreys food court received several orders this holiday season for Cajun turkey. Unfortunately, we sold out in just a short time, but steadily kept receiving orders. Without hesitation, Pyong-chun reached out to other stores for extra turkeys and had them transferred to us to fill the additional customer orders. His efforts ensured that our customers were able to spend a happy holiday with their family and friends. Pyong-chun’s efforts contributed to our facility selling 70 additional turkeys over last year and exceeded a 14% MILITARY STAR® card penetration rate in November. His customer service exceeds all expectations and is a great example of Family Serving Family!
