The Tinker Air Force Base Exchange relocated its cleaners and alterations shop, giving associates a more efficient space to serve those who serve.

“The previous store was much larger given the scope of what our shoppers actually needed,” said Tinker AFB Exchange General Manager Charles Eaves. “The new store is appropriately sized with a fresh, updated look for shoppers.”

72nd Mission Support Group Deputy Commander Lt. Col. Ronnie Synakowski joined Eaves on Feb. 13 to cut the ribbon on the upgraded shop, which offers clothing alterations and cleaning services to authorized shoppers at Tinker AFB.

“We’re excited to bring a fresh option to the community. It’s always great to be able to give the community a new upgrade or service,” Eaves said.

The reopening of the relocated and renovated shop is one of several new additions projected to open at the BX this year. Eaves’ team will unveil an upgraded Express, a new US Patriot Tactical Shop and a new dental clinic throughout the year.
