At the Military Clothing Conference: Stores Recognized For Outstanding Performances

Eleven Exchange Military Clothing stores were each honored with a three-coin award for exemplary service at the Military Clothing Conference this week in Frisco, Texas, capping the week-long gathering.

The award included Exchange CEO/Director Tom Shull’s coin, COO Jason Rosenberg’s coin and the coin of Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Kevin Osby, Exchange senior enlisted advisor.

“These stores demonstrated superb customer service, going above and beyond to ensure military members were properly outfitted,” said JR Chidester, the Exchange’s divisional merchandise manager for Military Clothing. “We are pleased to recognize them and highlight the tremendous year they had.”

Western Region

Creech AFB – increased sales by 46.4% since March 2020

White Sands Missile Range – increased sales by 17.2% since March 2020

Peterson SFB – increased sales by 31% and gross margin by 36% over prior year

Central Region

Fort Riley – increased sales by 8.5% since March 2020

Vance AFB – increased sales by 32.6% since March 2020

Eastern Region

Hanscom AFB – increased sales by 1.4% since March 2020

Fort Jackson – increased sales by 7.7% since March 2020

Pacific Region

Andersen AFB – increased sales by 4.7% since March 2020

Schofield Barracks – increased sales by 2.5% since March 2020

Europe Region

Grafenwoehr – increased sales by 14.1% since March 2020 and supported operations in Eastern Europe

Ramstein AB – for expertly outfitting heroes and supporting operations in Eastern Europe

In addition to the store awards, three MCS managers who did presentations at the conference were honored. Emmanuel Belt, Fort Knox MCS manager; Karen Anderson, Pentagon MCS manager; and Cheryl Hollis, Fort Eustis MCS manager, received certificates for their contributions to the conference.
