Jennifer Vandenheuvel
American Eatery Cook
Fort McCoy
Jenny started with the Exchange 2½ years ago as a food service worker and has swiftly moved into a cook position. She mentors new associates and helps with the mobile food unit, all while keeping up with her daily tasks. Jenny is customer oriented, is always willing to help other associates when the need arises and is consistently a beacon of positive energy, lifting the spirits of associates and customers. Her area is always organized, fresh and clean. Last summer, Jenny was our “Star,” asking customers if they wanted to use their MILITARY STAR card for their purchase. When things get busy, Jenny likes to take the lead in the kitchen, keeping up with customer orders and making meal addition suggestions, and she does it all with a smile. Thank you, Jenny. Keep up the great work!
Jacqueline Polk
Operations Manager
Fort Leonard Wood
Jacqueline is a customer-centered associate who recently assisted an upset customer who wanted to cancel an order. After talking with the customer, she assured them she could fix the issue. Within 24 hours, she called the customer to let them know she had corrected the charge to their card. Jacqueline’s actions to improve the customer’s experience and maintain lifelong connections are directly in line with our core value of Family Serving Family. The customer was so happy they wrote, “There’s going above and beyond to take care of customers, and then there’s handling a customer with such attentiveness and concern that you don’t even feel like a customer anymore. I genuinely didn’t think this kind of customer service existed anymore. Now I know it’s being hidden away at Fort Leonard Wood.” Thank you, Jacqueline, for helping Fort Leonard Wood achieve our Region Customer Satisfaction Index goals!
