The Qatar Exchange was recently tasked with operating a “rodeo” store to support Afghan guests. The store was only allowed to operate from 1800 to 2200. Every Monday for six months, in addition to running her own store, Amie and her team packed up merchandise to transport for the rodeo store, set it all up when they arrived, sold to our Afghan guests, packed everything back up and returned it to her store. Each week, Amie took the time to connect with these guests to ensure that their needs and wants were being met. Her enthusiasm and unfailing energy made the rodeo store a huge success, both for our guests and for the Exchange.

Gian has proudly been serving with the Exchange for over 24 years. He is an expert in all things PowerZone and is the top associate for AppleCare and Exchange Protection Plan sales. His knowledge and professionalism help him in assisting our customers by suggesting the correct products and ensuring they know about all the great benefits of AppleCare and our Exchange Protection Plans. During 2022, Gian sold 100 AppleCare plans, which was 33% or $10,236 of our total AppleCare sales. and he sold 396 Exchange Protection Plans. which was 19% or $20,726 of our total EPP sales. His diligence enabled us to reach a 20% attachment rate, it led our facility to become the No. 1 main store in Europe and No. 4 main store worldwide for Exchange Protection Plans. His focus of providing our customers with the best possible shopping experience while being an ambassador of Exchange programs is exemplary and we are proud to have Gian as a member of our team!
Marwan Qadar

Marwan Qadar is not only a stocker and cashier for the Erbil PX, but he also has a high level of productivity, working with other team members in various departments. He recently helped refresh our facility’s look by helping with overnight painting. Marwan even took on assisting with deep cleaning and restoring an older temporary field Exchange in preparation for it being moved to serve our troops in a remote location. He is an expert in organization, sorting merchandise in our warehouse and separating containers for our stockers to fill our shelves quickly and efficiently. Marwan pays close attention to detail and attentively tracks customer requests and ensures they receive all requested items in a minimal amount of time. Thanks to all his hard work and results-driven efforts, our sales have increased 20%+, we only had an annual inventory variance of 0.03%, and our customers always have a smile.
