The Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Exchange team cut the ribbon on three new unmanned retail markets in March and April, bringing fresh food, snacks and beverages to Airmen with limited access to the BX or Express locations.

The new unmanned retail markets, located at the Air Force Institute of Technology’s Building, Air Force Research Laboratory’s Building and in Building 16, use analytics to keep the market’s product selection up to date based on the shopper’s wants and needs.

“We’re excited to provide Airmen with a curated option to fuel their minds on campus,” said Wright-Patterson AFB Exchange General Manager Adam Shaw. “Lines were out the door ahead of the ribbon cutting. Our DoD civilians and contractors are also grateful for the quick and easy convenience of coffee and snacks within their workplace.”

The Wright-Patterson Exchange will also welcome a Dunkin’ location later this year.
