Geared up and ready to work each morning, Ron’s smile reflects onto every customer walking through the door. Communicating customization suggestions and flavor updates, Ron has built vital customer relationships that have contributed to a 20% sales increase over last year. His artistry goes beyond drinks as he regularly creates eye-catching artwork around the facility, highlighting the community, MILITARY STAR® and his team.

Mike is an Army Veteran with 20+ years of service and is the owner/operator of the Freedom Frames shop. He has two locations open and running and is currently in negotiations to open a third location in Anchorage, Alaska, at the JBER Exchange Mall. Freedom Frames’ sales for 2021 skyrocketed to $146,000+ for designing and framing customer requests for Fort Wainwright and Eielson Air Force Base. In 2022, sales were $202,000 after a second location was opened in the Exchange Mall on Eielson Air Force Base in June. Mike generously supports our local events by donating items for our customers to win and does what he can to make sure they’re satisfied with the products. We are excited to continue to grow his business with him to take care of our military customers.

Jewelry Customer Experience Associate

Latekia Arrington has been and continues to be an amazing customer experience associate in the jewelry department of Fort Bliss main store. She puts her Gemological Institute of America certification to work educating our customers when it comes to picking the right diamond for their purchase, which helps create a strong relationship and loyalty with our customers for future purchases. Latekia’s outstanding performance has been instrumental in her being the top seller for critical items over the last few months, which contributed to a sales increase of 51% above last year for a total of $43,147 in the jewelry department for the month of January. She has proved to be a great leader to the jewelry team and always steps up when her teammates need help with understanding critical item standard operating procedures. Latekia truly demonstrates our core value of family serving family and continues to bring service with a smile to the Exchange.
