Panda Express Now Open at Fort Belvoir Exchange
FORT BELVOIR – Soldiers and families at Fort Belvoir have a new dining option at their main Exchange food court: Panda Express.
Garrison Commander Col. Joseph Messina, Command Sgt. Maj. Daniel Hopkins, Exchange General Manager Alex Mamaril, ELPX Restaurant Group Regional Manager Tony Liu and Panda Express Manager Kevon Smith cut the ribbon April 12 on the restaurant, which offers Chinese-inspired entrees such as orange chicken, Beijing beef, General Tso’s chicken and honey walnut shrimp.
“We are excited to bring this convenient, name-brand dining option to service members and families at Fort Belvoir,” Mamaril said. “Panda Express is another example of the Exchange striving to offer the household names Soldiers and their families desire—right where they live, work and play.”
Panda Express offers many better-for-you options including string bean chicken breast, broccoli beef, grilled chicken teriyaki and mixed vegetables—each coming in at 300 calories or less. All of the Exchange’s 1,600 restaurants offer better-for-you menu choices.
Because 100% of Exchange earnings support Quality-of-Life programs on installations, every time Soldiers and families grab a bite to eat at any Exchange restaurant, they are supporting the Fort Belvoir community. In 2021, Fort Belvoir Exchange shoppers generated more than $2 million for these programs.
