Drepsy Ortiz
Shift Manager
Schofield Barracks Military Clothing Store
Drepsy is highly motivated, provides extraordinary support and demonstrates care and compassion with each customer looking for assistance with military uniforms and insignias. She leads the team in Army Green Service Uniforms and holds our in-store record for the most daily uniform fittings, which has led her to a very strong and loyal customer base. Last month, she coordinated over $10,000 in unit sales to ensure our units on base had the insignia they needed. It’s a common practice for our customers to return to personally thank Drepsy for her exemplary support and customer service. Pictured with her is an instructor from our Division’s Lightning Academy thanking her for coordinating 800+ badges for an upcoming Air Assault graduation. Drepsy proudly serves those who serve!
Miwako Yamamoto
Popeyes Counter Attendant
Misawa Air Base
Miwako is a hard-working champion in food safety. During our most recent Restaurant Excellence visit, the inspector observed her manning the batter fry station, following all the correct procedures to prepare the chicken, and praised her accuracy and neatness. Miwako’s dedication to food safety was a significant contribution to the Misawa Popeyes successfully passing that inspection with a score of 97.4%. She is a true ambassador for food safety and a true superstar. Thank you Miwako for all you do!
Pyon, Son-Chun
Services Business Manager
Kunsan Air Base
Mr. Pyon has been with the Kunsan Exchange for nearly a year as the new services business manager. He accepted the position even after being advised that he would face challenges finding new vendors due to the base location and population size. During the past year, Mr. Pyon has signed six new vendor partners. His successes include a Korean Vendor Market that comes out to support base-wide events and the Crocs store. On his first day, he saw a 12-foot empty space and immediately started working with Crocs. Last month, all his hard work paid off when the Crocs store grossed $9,000 in sales within the first 30 days. Mr. Pyon traded the locations of two of our existing vendors, a hobby shop and a bike shop—increasing their sales by $4,874 and $2,103. That’s an additional $15,977 in sales! The Wolf Pack’s Quality of Life Task Force group has given major praise to Mr. Pyon and our Services team as our malls have greatly improved by catering more to Kunsan’s demographic. Great job Mr. Pyon!
