Short-Term Services Program Tech
Eglin Air Force Base & Hurlburt Field

Yalu is an Air Force spouse who has served the military as an Exchange associate for the last 27 years.  She oversees the short-term programs for Eglin Air Force Base and Hurlburt Field, making her an integral part of our Services team. Since the beginning of 2023, Yalu has increased our short-term partners by 14, giving us a total of 35. She actively searches for new business opportunities at local events, building solid relationships within the community and with concession partners.  After their interactions with Yalu, many of our partners recommend our program to others. She has graduated from the Service Business Manager Academy to enhance her level of service operations knowledge. Thanks to Yalu, her bright smile and excitement for the program, our sales are up $191,611 or 13.7% over last year, making her a huge asset to the Exchange!

Sylvia Booker
Customer Experience Associate
Fort Gordon

Sylvia greets every customer entering the Gate 5 Express at Fort Gordon. She knows most of them by name and when they leave, you often hear them yelling, “BYE Sylvia, have a great day!”  She ensures that our Snack Avenue is well-stocked and ready to go for our in-store customers and DoorDash customers when she’s on shift. The DoorDash program was implemented in November 2022 and our sales for 2022 totaled $14,631. Since Sylvia started assisting with the program, her contributions have pushed our sales up. Our year-to-date sales for DoorDash are $33,118.15, an average of $8,280 a month.  Associates like Sylvia,who take pride in making all of our customers feel welcome and valued and give them the best shopping experience, are the ones who keep our customers coming back!

Janetta Scott
Burger King Associate
Fort Moore

Janetta, often referred to as a “Walking Encyclopedia of Burger King Brand Standards” by her manager, has been with the Exchange since June 1997. She knows the brand standards inside and out and has been instrumental in building the bench, training their new staff, and keeping her manager on his toes with all the latest updates on the brand standards. Janetta’s exceptional attention to detail contributes greatly to the achievements and success of the Fort Moore Main Post Burger King.  She has been influential in our year-to-date increase in earnings of $92,511 and increase of gross profit +4.16% over last year. Not to mention a Restaurant Evaluation Review score of 96% with a 100% in food safety!
