His recent completion of the Restaurant Operations Management Academy awarded him the opportunity to develop his leadership skills and provided him insight into his teams’ daily impact on the customer experience. After this realization, John created a heartwarming video on customer service for his final presentation. His influence has led the team to a 15% increase in sales over the annual financial plan year-to-date and a 22% increase in productivity over annual financial plan year-to-date.

Goodfellow Express is honored to have retired Army Veteran CW3 Daryl Vail on board as a customer experience associate. He retired from the Army in January 2014 out of Fort Stewart, Georgia, and found his way to Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas, in September 2021. Daryl follows the customer-service standards of a warm greeting, great listening skills, making the right customer suggestions and always closing with a genuine “thank you.” His popularity is not limited to our adult customers; our young student population walks into the store saying, “Hello Mr. Daryl! Good to see you today!” Daryl is a great teammate and makes working with him great fun, taking care of our nation’s Warfighters.
