Exchange leaders at Scott Air Force Base welcomed an unmanned retail market to Jefferson Barracks, making it the first on-the-go option for Army National Guard members on the installation.

Lt. Col. Seth Nelson joined Scott AFB Exchange General Manager Asia Gilchriest to cut the ribbon on the new self-serve market that gives shoppers a quick option for dining. Items offered include beverages, snacks, and more—including better-for-you items to keep service members ready and resilient.

“We’re excited to provide service members with a quick, healthy option for nourishment,” Gilchriest said. “Our command is always supportive of the Exchange’s ongoing initiatives to improve the quality of life for our military community.”
