“This experience is all curated by Sunglass Hut and part of an exclusive partnership with the Exchange,” Carpenter said as she welcomed the latest offering to Fort Cavazos and announced its online launch. “This experience for our customer offers new brands and tons of new styles.”

The shop-in-shop features sunglasses from Costa del Mar, Arnette, Armani Exchange, ESS, Gucci, Haven, Coach, Maui Jim, Michael Kors, Dolce and Gabbana and more.

Curated by Sunglass Hut is another addition that supports the Exchange’s priority to intensify national brands, giving military shoppers added value. The assortment’s arrival online not only provides an opportunity for increased e-commerce sales, but it also increases dividends that are given to military communities.

The Curated By Sunglass Hut partnership introduces new brands, including Versace, Burberry, Prada, Dolce and Gabbana and more, to the Exchange’s product lineup for military shoppers.

Sgt. Danny James, who has been assigned to Fort Cavazos for more than a year, was among the first shoppers to react to the new assortment.

“I’m interested in the Ray-Bans,” James said. “I shop here really for the savings. I’ve noticed the Exchange bringing more variety to the store with brands in the year and a half that I’ve been here. It’s nice to save on taxes and not have to leave post.”

The assortment is available at 18 additional PXs and BXs. Associates can shop the collection at ShopMyExchange.com tax-free with an additional 15% off the manufacturer’s suggested retail price.

The Exchange’s Corporate Communication and Brand Marketing team gave shoppers and associates an exclusive sneak peek at the newest merchandise and captured the ribbon cutting on Facebook Live.
