Exchange Director/CEO Recognizes Work of 7 Associates During JBMDL Visit

Exchange Director/CEO Tom Shull recognized seven Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst associates for their work during a visit to the main store on Aug. 10.

“The Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst team is all-in for the Exchange mission of serving those who serve,” Shull said. “These associates go the extra mile to serve JBMDL’s diverse customer base.”

The JBMDL Exchange supports a large community that includes Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Reserve trainees. General Manager Page Clark said she nominated two of the associates who were recognized, Bob Metz and Brad Robinson, after they staffed a mobile field Exchange during an annual August exercise for the Army Reserve’s 78th Training Division. Three thousand troops participated in the exercise.

“They helped out with the MFE and supported the troops, listening to them when they came in to shop,” Clark said.

Keith Johnson, a shift manager at the Dix Express, was recognized for taking on extra responsibility after the Express manager retired. Other associates were recognized for outstanding customer service.

Shull also spoke to the team about the Exchange’s strategic priorities, its partnership with The Home Depot and other topics. He also toured the store and spoke with associates.
